TXHS Athletes at the Next Level

If you needed a reminder that Texas produces some of the best football talent in the country, just look at what these former high school stars did this past weekend. From big-time touchdown catches to record-setting passing performances, Texas athletes are making their presence known in college football.

Let’s run it back:

Sawyer Robertson – Baylor (Lubbock Coronado)

Sawyer Robertson was slinging it at Lubbock Coronado, and now he’s doing the same for Baylor. He threw for 440 yards and four touchdowns in the Bears’ win over SNU. Absolute clinic.

Parker Livingstone – Texas (Lovejoy)

You couldn’t stop him at Lovejoy, and you can’t stop him now. Parker Livingstone scored two touchdowns in the Longhorns’ win over San Jose State — including an 83-yard bomb. He’s just getting started.

Behren Morton – Texas Tech (Eastland)

Behren Morton lit it up for Eastland back in the day, and now he’s cooking in Lubbock. Against Kent State, he threw for 459 yards and seven touchdowns. The Red Raiders’ offense looked unstoppable.

Jackson Arnold – Auburn (Denton Guyer)

Auburn fans are quickly learning what Texas high school fans already knew — Jackson Arnold is the real deal. The former Guyer QB went 24 of 28 for 251 yards and three touchdowns in the Tigers’ win over Ball State. Smooth and efficient.

Garrett Nussmeier – LSU (Marcus)

Garrett Nussmeier is putting Marcus High School on the map in Baton Rouge. He dropped 469 passing yards and two touchdowns in LSU’s win over Louisiana Tech. That arm is dangerous.

Dakorien Moore – Oregon (Duncanville)

The freshman wasted no time making an impact. Duncanville star Dakorien Moore scored his first career touchdown on a 65-yard reception for Oregon. And trust me, this is just the beginning — you’ll be seeing a lot more from him.

It’s always special watching Texas high school legends take that next step and prove themselves on the college stage. These guys aren’t just playing, they’re dominating. Super pumped to see what’s next.
