In what seems like no time at all, the UIL Boys Soccer playoffs are here! Matchups start this weekend with Bi-District games.
Several teams across all six divisions are worth keeping an eye on. Here's who we're paying attention to:
4A D1: Kilgore is always a contender in the playoffs. The Bulldogs have a strong tradition, and it’s hard to count them out. Kilgore enters the playoffs with a 21-1-1 record and will face Hudson in Bi-District.
4A D2: It's no secret that San Elizario knows how to win soccer games. While they have 5 losses this season, they still won their district. The Eagles will take on Liberty in Bi-District.

5A D1: Walnut Grove has dominated 5A all year long. It feels like it's the Wildcats and everyone else. They finished the regular season 30-0 and won it all last year—they plan to do it again this year. Walnut Grove will face Lufkin in Bi-District.
5A D2: Wakeland is undoubtedly the best team in 5A D2. The Wolverines are 21-1-1 this season and continue their winning tradition. Wakeland will play Memorial in Bi-District.

6A D1: Seven Lakes hasn’t slowed down, and we don’t see them slowing anytime soon. The Spartans are 20-1-1 and are looking for another state championship. They will take on Alief Hastings in Bi-District.
6A D2: Jesuit has looked like a championship team all season. This year, they could carry that momentum all the way to Georgetown. The Rangers are 17-0-2 and will face South Grand Prairie in Bi-District.
